NOT GOING TO UNI

Logo & digital design

Not Going to Uni, a vital resource for school leavers exploring alternatives to university, needed a complete website redesign centered on a mobile-responsive experience and an upgraded search architecture designed to deliver faster, more relevant results.

Concept & Design Approach

I pitched an icon-driven interface that allowed users to quickly filter and narrow search options before the new search engine refined results further – making the journey intuitive and efficient from the first click.

Beyond search, we introduced a dynamic social feed to enable service providers to connect and engage directly with prospective applicants. I also designed a LinkedIn-style candidate profile page, empowering users to update their information and apply for opportunities seamlessly.

Logo Refresh & Email Strategy

Recognizing inconsistency in the existing logo’s use, I proposed and delivered a simplified, more versatile logo redesignthat worked better across digital channels.

To boost user engagement post-launch, I also recommended a rethink of their email strategy, implementing a 30-, 60-, and 90-day retention campaign to keep users connected and returning.

Key Deliverables & Leadership

  • Mobile-responsive website design

  • Style guidelines and iconography

  • Logo redesign for digital clarity and consistency

  • UI design and wireframes

  • Newsletter design

  • Retention email strategy and implementation

I led the design team throughout, overseeing the entire build to ensure the project aligned with strategic goals and delivered a seamless user experience.

Digital design

Eureka Entertainment, a renowned film distribution company known for classic titles like Metropolis and Nosferatu, traditionally sold its extensive DVD and Blu-ray catalogue through third-party resellers like Amazon and eBay.

I designed a completely new website with an integrated online shop, centered around the concept of a movie magazine. The design features striking full-bleed film imagery that celebrates Eureka’s iconic library, bringing the classics to life and giving the site a bold, cinematic feel.

Expanded Content & Engagement

The site rethink also introduced engaging content sections such as a regularly updated blog and community forums, providing fans with fresh insights and a place to connect.

Key Deliverables:

  • Mobile-responsive website design

  • Integrated e-commerce shop

  • Newsletter design and implementation

This fresh approach helped Eureka Entertainment establish a direct-to-consumer platform that showcased their brand with style and fostered deeper engagement with film lovers.
